Ataraxia, defined as untroubled and tranquil from the Latin. I’m not so sure how tranquil these works are because they break away from my more ordered constructions. Once a framework it is now more a part of the image, moreover, a part that breaks away from the painting. I’m always looking for that balance in compositions apparently even in the asymmetrical.
