In early fall I had added to my “Irish Suite” the “Cearnogá” series with “Bán Glan” “Lonrach Dubh ” and “Daoimean” series. These titles translate from the Irish language to “Squares,” “Clear White,” and “Luminous Black,” and “Diamonds” respectively. I hope to be back in Ireland next year and working on more paintings and constructions incorporating the Irish inspiration that West Cork gives me. Until then I will continue to work with the reductive compositions that have dominated my aesthetic for the past few decades.
