This of course, is an homage to Kasimir Malevich and his Suprematist paintings of the same name. Malevich helped usher in non objective art in the early 20th Century. I’ve always been drawn to early abstraction and as I’ve said and written many times, I like to have dialogues with artists of the past as well as the contemporary. I’ve added my own bit of collaged object in the form of a fragment of vintage frame.
